The article investigates certain activity results of the extraordinary investigative authority – Extraordinary investigation commission (EIC) of the Provisional government. The author concludes that the destiny of EIC is unique, and commission’s developments and achievements still remain significant, urgent and necessary in conditions of formation of a rightful democratic state in Russia.
